FAQ

What does treatment look like at Active Rehab Chiropractic?

Our treatment approach is designed to address your unique needs comprehensively, ensuring not just temporary relief but also long-term health and mobility. Here's what you can expect during your journey with us:

Assess: Evaluation of Progress
Each visit begins with a quick but thorough assessment to gauge your progress since your last appointment. This isn't just about checking boxes; it's about understanding your body's response to treatment and adjusting our approach accordingly.
Adjust: Precision Care for Optimal Joint Function
Chiropractic adjustments are at the heart of our treatment philosophy, aimed at restoring proper joint motion and function. This process involves gentle, targeted movements to relieve pain and improve mobility.
Soft Tissue Therapy: Comprehensive Muscle and Tissue Care
Beyond adjustments, addressing soft tissue issues is crucial for a full recovery. We employ a variety of techniques, including dry needling, manual therapy, and the use of a massage gun, to target knots, trigger points, and adhesions. Each method is selected based on its effectiveness for your specific condition, working to enhance circulation, relieve tension, and support your body's natural healing process.
Rehab Exercise: Building the Foundation for Durable Health
Exercise isn't just a complement to treatment; it's a cornerstone of lasting health. Our rehab exercises are carefully chosen to strengthen and stabilize your muscles, correcting imbalances and preventing the recurrence of problems. We focus on exercises that not only aid in recovery but also integrate seamlessly into your daily life, empowering you to maintain your gains and enjoy a more active, pain-free lifestyle.
Do you take my insurance?

Insurance companies dictate what types of treatments and number of visits are allowed, which may work in a traditional chiropractic setting. At Active Rehab, we emphasize one-on-one time with patients and exercise protocols which aren't compatible with this model. With insurance based treatment plans, the doctor -- and therefore the patient -- are at the mercy of the insurance plan. By not taking insurance, we are able to personalize your treatment plan.

Why would you use a cash-based practice?

Personalized Care
Without the restrictions of insurance plans, we have the freedom to offer longer appointment times, which means more one-on-one attention and a treatment plan that's truly tailored to you.
Transparency in Pricing
Our services are priced transparently, so you always know what to expect without hidden fees or surprises. This approach simplifies the financial aspects of your care, allowing us to focus on your health and recovery.
Flexibility
We can offer a wider range of treatments and innovative techniques that may not be covered by insurance, giving you access to the very best in chiropractic and rehabilitative care.
How can you manage payment without insurance?

We understand that navigating healthcare costs without insurance can seem daunting. That's why we're committed to working with you to make our services accessible and affordable. Many of our patients use Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) or Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) for our services. Additionally, depending on your out-of-network benefits, we can offer invoices which may be reimbursed or contribute towards your deductible.
